Frameworks and big projects

should we use laravel framework for big scale projects or use the php programming language ?? Thanks in advance (Sorry for my bad english)

I think you should never use them.

The reason is that, you start to use them and you create your project and everything works well.

But after some time, you gonna need some modifications on the framework for performance and new features. Stuff like requests. A request comes in, framework checks the database it's mysql. Another one comes and it's still mysql.

So you start to modify the framework, over and over and over again. Till a point where you can't change it anymore. Heck you can't even upgrade to a newer version (which means better security and performance).

And some frameworks are still using old php versions (like wordpress).

But if the project is not big and you think you should you a framework, that would increase development speed.

But choice is yours...
